Since 2009, Amir has been offering training and resources to young adults, known as Farmers, to become skilled farm educators. Their model allows any summer camp to have an educational farm, teaching campers about food sources, helping Farmers develop their teaching skills, and promoting social justice and sustainability. Amir aims to create a generation of farmers by encouraging campers to plant and save seeds, Farmers to educate counselors, and camp communities to commit to ethical food purchasing. They plan to expand their educational model and commitment to justice.
