With a focus on automating labor in modern greenhouses, SWEEPER is using technology developed in the EU-FP7 project CROPS to create a robotic harvesting solution for sweet peppers. The project involves a consortium of six partners from four countries, bringing together expertise in horticulture, machine vision, robotics, and greenhouse crop management. Equipped with sensors and machine vision algorithms, the Sweeper robot is part of the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union.
